I was happily driving my beautiful Tesla on Hwy 9 eastbound and just passed the traffic lights at Hwy 27 when a car entering from Hwy 27 drifted into me and wrecked the whole passenger side. OPP says the driver will be charged with improper lane change causing a collision. Dashcam video also shows that the other car's driver side brake light was not working.
Boy am I cheesed off!
Had it towed home on advice of police so that any additional damage could not be blamed on me.

Took a short drive and noticed that it is pulling to the right. So, some front components also took a hit. I'll get it towed to Excellence Auto in the morning.

Car went to Excellence Auto for estimate and repairs.

Visited Excellence Auto and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the shop and expertise of the manager and technicians. The manager took the time to fully explain all the procedures. Parts were ordered already. There is hope that it might be finished by Apr. 15.

The estimate for repairs is CAD$ 14,632.- ( ~US$ 11,700.- ). Most of the required parts are in and work on the car will start tomorrow. The trip to Maryland "Reach the Beach" is off.

Repairs were completed  Friday the 24th and the Service Center did the alignment late Saturday afternoon. The owner of Excellence Auto Collision went beyond the call of duty and personally delivered my P85D to my home at 7 in the evening today. Happy camper here.
